@albertospantry is in the centre of #chippingnorton and it is a beautiful, intimate restaurant and deli, selling the most amazing Italian produce perfect for gifts or just stocking up your pantry!
We had previously scoped out the menu online and all of the pasta dishes sounded incredible, but here’s what we went for:
🇮🇹 Day baked bread – extra virgin olive oil
🇮🇹 Rigatoni alla carbonara – guanciale, egg yolk, pecorino, black pepper
🇮🇹 Risotto di pomodoro – stracciatella burrata, Parmesan, basil
🇮🇹 Pistachio cannoli
We washed all these gorgeous dishes down with an aperol spritz (obvs, the sun was out!) a beer and an espresso ☕️
Stand outs for us had to be the olive oil served with the bread, it was outstanding, the creaminess of the carbonara was unmatched, and we had to choose that due to our guanciale obsession! Then the risotto…WOW the risotto was fresh with basil and creamy with the burrata 🤤🤤 I realise I’m giving each dish a shout out as a stand out and that’s because it really was all THAT GOOD! The cannoli was some of the best we’ve ever had too. Just go here, you won’t be disappointed!
